Beyond the Bell YOUTH SERVICES (YS)The Beyond the Bell YOUTH SERVICES After-School Program of organized games, enrichment activities, and homework assistance is provided for those students capable of independent supervision to, from, and at the playground site. It is a permissive recreation program available to students in grades 2 through 6. Children may come and go as they choose and by their own volition.
The Beyond the Bell YOUTH SERVICES After-School Program is not a child care program. Students do not sign-in or out. It is a privilege, not a right, to participate in the program. Children are expected to conduct themselves appropriately and may lose the opportunity to participate if their behavior is disruptive. The elementary program is for students in elementary grades (grades 2 through 5/6).
In order for a student to be eligible to participate an agreement form is required. Once completed and received by the Youth Services Staff the student may participate

BEYOND THE BELL SUMMER PROGRAM WILL BE OFFERED AT DORRIS PLACE!
Beyond the Bell will provide in-person enrichment and summer programming at select elementary and middle school sites.
Eligibility: Current Los Angeles Unified students with a District ID number in grades TK – 8th
Program Dates: June 13 – July 28
Times: Hours vary by program and school site
HOW TO APPLY:
In-Person Application:
- Request an application at Dorris Place beginning Tuesday, May 2nd
- Complete the application and return it on the first day of the summer program to the Beyond the Bell program staff
Online Application:

- Download, print and submit your application on the first day of summer school to the summer program staff
